Student Scholarship
DESCRIPTION
The International Society for Agricultural Safety and Health established a scholarship fund to support college students with accepted abstracts to the annual conference.
$500 will be awarded to 10 students.
The Student Scholarship Award is available to all students, both undergraduate and graduate, who are involved in agricultural safety and health and looking for funding to attend the conference related to their academic or professional goals.
ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must be enrolled full-time and be in good standing at an accredited university or college located internationally or in the United States.
Research abstracts must have been accepted by the Professional Improvement Committee and forwarded to Membership Committee for determination of award.
Multiple author submissions are acceptable, but the student applicant must be the designated presenter of the research. If there are multiple student authors, only the first author may apply for these funds. If the student applicant has been accepted to present more than one paper or poster, she or he must choose only one paper/poster presentation to use when applying for this award.
PREVIOUS AWARDEES
Applicants who have previously received an ISASH Conference Scholarship are eligible to apply. In case of equal scores following the review, preference will be given to first-time applicants.
The deadline to submit all applications is Midnight, May 1st, 2026.
International Travel Scholarship
The International Society for Agricultural Safety and Health (ISASH) is pleased to offer the ISASH International Travel Scholarship to support individuals who are dedicated to the advancement of agricultural safety and health worldwide. This scholarship aims to assist in covering travel expenses for applicants wishing to attend the ISASH Annual Conference. By fostering the participation of professionals and academics, ISASH hopes to promote knowledge exchange, networking, and the dissemination of cutting-edge research in agricultural safety and health. This opportunity is available to members of ISASH who meet the eligibility requirements outlined below.
*Eligibility Statement:*
To be eligible for the ISASH International Travel Scholarship, applicants must:
1. Be a current member of ISASH.
2. Submit a completed scholarship application form.
3. Priority will be given to those who have submitted an abstract for presentation at the ISASH Annual Conference.
4. Demonstrate financial need for travel support.
5. Priority will be given to those involved in one or more of the following interest areas:
– Rural Occupational Health and Safety – Family Leisure – Tractor and Equipment
6. Priority will be given to those with active participant in one or more ISASH standing committees, such as Membership, PR, or PI.
7. Reside in a country that is not the location of the ISASH conference (ineligible if the conference is being held in the applicant’s country).
8. Preference may be given to applicants from low-income countries as listed in the scholarship guidelines.
9. First-time attendees are eligible for additional consideration.
All applicants will be judged on the completeness of their application, relevance to ISASH’s mission, and their professional or academic development goals related to the conference. Points will also be awarded based on the applicant’s involvement in ISASH and the potential impact of their presentation on the broader field of agricultural safety and health.
